General Terms & Conditions

1. LESSONS

Each lesson lasts 55 minutes and takes place in all weather conditions.

In the event of a complete closure of the ski lifts, lessons will not be refunded but will be rescheduled to another time or day (subject to availability).

The cost of the ski pass and ski equipment is not included in the course fees / private lesson rates.

Please note that skiers must have valid third-party liability insurance covering damages to third parties (in accordance with Art. 30 of Legislative Decree No. 40/2021). We also recommend taking out private accident insurance.

Group lessons cannot be converted into private lessons.

If the minimum number of participants required for a group course is not reached, the ski school reserves the right to shorten the lesson duration or merge the booked course with another course.

The Ski and Snowboard School St. Christina declines any liability for accidents that occur during lessons.

To ensure effective instruction and participant safety, parents are requested to inform the ski school or the instructor of any physical or mental impairments of their minor child.

2. RESERVATION

The booking is completed upon payment of the course fee and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

From 01/01/2026, bookings of fewer than 5 private lessons require full payment. From 6 lessons onward, a deposit of 30% of the total price is required.

A rescheduling request can only be considered subject to availability and only if submitted at least 72 hours before the booked lesson. Rescheduled lessons are non-refundable. (Please note that any reduction or cancellation of booked lessons is considered a cancellation and therefore no refund is possible.)

By submitting the required data via email or verbally, you automatically give your consent to our privacy policy and general terms and conditions.

3. CANCELLATION/WITHDRAWAL

According to current regulations (Art. 59 of the Consumer Protection Code), there is no right of withdrawal for services scheduled for a specific date or within a specific period. Cancellation is free of charge up to 1 month before the start of the lessons (excluding any bank fees or administrative charges).

Cancellation before the start of the lessons is only possible with a certificate issued by local medical authorities. The refund applies from the following day and is valid exclusively for the sick person named in the medical certificate. In case of refund, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total price will be retained.

The issuance of a voucher previously agreed upon with the Ski School may be requested no later than 72 hours before the start of the lessons.
